Spatial Dialogues is a trans-disciplinary research project investigating the environmental and cultural significance of water in three cities in the Asia-Pacific region: Melbourne, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Following the Drowned Worlds public art event in 2012 linked to the large urban screen at Fairfax’s Media House in central Melbourne, the next major project, Shibuya Underground Streams, is currently underway. Read about the project or view project updates.

By connecting with Shanghai later this year, the team seeks to initiate an international dialogue on the problem of the ways in which cities in our region will adapt to climate change.
